Licensed psychologists, clinical social workers and professional counselors provide therapy services to both adults and children. Psychiatric services are available through the outpatient program to those individuals requiring medication for stabilization. Our licensed psychologists also provide psychological testing for both forensic and clinical purposes. The outpatient clinic treats a variety of disorders ranging from the chronic severe psychiatric disorders to common adjustment disorders and marital issues.

The Clark Community Mental Health Center accepts Medicaid, Medicare and many other insurance plans. Therapy services are also available to those individuals who do not have insurance and a sliding fee scale utilizing Purchase of Service (POS) funding determines the cost to the individual.

Individuals may request outpatient services by contacting the Clark Community Mental Health Center at 417-235-6610. Support Staff will gather information and set up an appointment time where a trained mental health professional will perform an intake or screening to determine what outpatient therapy services are appropriate given your individual needs. Individuals requiring more intensive treatment and support including Targeted Case Management (TCM) or Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center (CPRC) services will be referred to the appropriate program when they qualify based on diagnosis and need. For more information about our outpatient services please contact the outpatient clinic at 417-235-6610.
